Write your feelings away

I've been writing quite a bit today, as sort of "commissions" to other people. It was quite nice. Though I just still can't get over this writer's block of mine...
But, I thought I could dump these here too.

BREAK ME
It was raining. Not only raining but pouring down. The sky had turned dark grey, almost black. You could hear the thunder from somewhere further – it would be only a matter of hours before it would hit the centre of the city too. The water was cold as it hit the streets, even colder as it touched the skin. It had gone through his clothes a long ago, felt cold at first but now he just felt like he was getting numb. Numb to all of it. To the water beating against his skin, to the coldness around him. And yet the terrible pain in his chest just wouldn’t go away. It stayed. When everything else lost its feeling, the pain stayed.

“Yuuki… please. Come in.”
His voice was calm as always. It tried to reason, make things have some sense again. And yet the blond could do nothing but slowly shake his head, feeling the tears running down his cheeks and mixing up with the raindrops falling over him. And the tears kept running like pearls against his pale skin, the rain washing them away, hiding them but yet unable to cover the hurt in those eyes.
“Please. Let’s talk about this inside.”
And yet another shake of head. Yet more tears. More tears for the rain to hide away.

And he felt how the vision went blurry. How nothing made sense anymore. How the tears just kept flowing and blinded him. How the pain in his chest just made him want to scream. And any knife stabbed to his chest would have hurt less than this. Anything but this.

He felt the hands softly wrapping around him. Pulling him closer and embracing him gently.
And he was shaking, the quiet sobs trembling his whole body as the other one just pulled him even closer, caressed his wet hair softly and lift up his skin to wipe away the tears from his eyes. And he smiled. Smiled like angels do. The little rain drops glimmering in his black hair, staying on his lips like the morning dew.
“I still love you.”

The kiss was soft and gentle.
And he knew that it was love, undeserved.

HAUNT ME

It had been past midnight for a good while now. The autumn wind had already turned cold weeks ago and therefore it was quiet there now. Even in the city that never slept, the hours after midnight had started growing more and more quiet by the weeks. And yet there was a person now sitting on one of the benches of this one particular park. And not only one but two actually. Yet the other one not really there. Just a mere ghost, a fragile, translucent reflection of the blond haired man he had once been. Invisible to the other man’s eyes to see.

Yuuki didn’t even want to remember just how many hours he had spent in that park, just looking at Genki who sat on the other side of the path, gaze once in a while wandering through the long ago emptied park, as if waiting for someone. And the sadness in the ghost’s eyes seemed to grow by every minute they spent there. Sitting opposite each other yet seeing nothing, yet saying nothing.

“I’m sorry. He’s not coming tonight either.”
And he knew that Genki couldn’t hear him. But he couldn’t stand the silence ringing in his ears any more.
“Just please go home already…”
And he stood up, walked across the path and sat next to him, lightly caressing the living one’s hair with his fingertips.
“Please.”
It was a soft, gentle kiss to his cheek.

And there was no sound. For a while even the wind had stopped.
And yet Genki felt those little chills running down his spine and he wrapped his leather jacket even more tightly around him as he stood up. Took a step towards the direction he knew his home was. And for some unknown reason it felt right.

The ghost just stood there, walked in his footsteps and smiled sadly. Like so many nights before.

LOVE ME
Yuuki had always said he loved surprises, yet he still almost jumped as he felt the sudden hug from behind, dropping the knife he was holding back to the table.
“Yuu~ki!”
He would have recognised Kayuu’s voice even asleep. There could possibly be no other creature on this planet as full of positive energy as the man hugging him right now.
“Oh but hey Kayuu. I didn’t think you were supposed to come in another hour or two!”
There was a soft chuckle as he turned around and softly ruffled the other one’s hair, deserving a kiss to his cheek and a happy little laughter from the other one. And yet the brown haired man was pouting - the explanation however followed rather quickly.
“I didn’t have time to finish the cupcakes.”
Yet another soft laughter echoed in the kitchen as the pink haired pulled him tighter to his hug, snuggling against him and then raising his gaze, softly pecking the tip of the still pouting one’s nose, making the light blush creep to his cheeks rather quickly.
“Don’t worry ne. I brought some cookies.”
“And I have strawberries.”
And they both laughed heartily as they closed each other to a warm embrace.
